56 312 passing Northolt Underground Station coming down the 'New' North Main Line. Single track now but the second line can still be seen in the undergrowth on the right.
October and this chap was not inapproriately dressed. It was unseasonably warm and the weather forecasts suggests we won't need the heating for a while yet
Here at the alternative point, uphill and downhill trains can pass each other.

When going by train to and from my work I could be in this train. The quiet atmosphere of the picture above is rudely disturbed, notice that this is the same point of view!

With two weeks off for spring break I will finally be able to catch up on the myriad of snaps I have yet to look process. I'd also really like to start getting back into the senior and wedding portraits that I started doing a while back. My school schedule will be a little lighter during the spring and summer so hopefully I can find another photog to help 2nd shoot during the weekends.

British Rail Class 20 20087 arrives at Alton on the Mid-Hants Railway/Watercress Line during the Diesel Gala.
A passing bridge is a means of letting the towing barge-horse change sides of the canal without the need to unhitch the harness and towrope. (When functioning there was no vegetation.)
Here's the turn to pass under the bridge and continue on the lefthand side of the canal.
