I was slightly concerned that the Morton on Lugg northbound freight may have bowled my shot of the southbound cements. As it was both trains hit the curve at the same time.

Tightly focused but embracing a little motion blur in this close-up candid street portrait. Despite the imperfection, I simply loved her expression and the flow of the image so I processed in higher contrast with some added grain to balance the softness.
UP ILTSIR-28 rolls into Sylmar passing a local landmark: the Los Angeles Aqueduct's Cascades. Through freight traffic isn't all that common on this line, but a maintenance closure of the Palmdale Cutoff brought a number of freight trains through on this Memorial Day weekend.
Passing Saltley, 20007 and 20142 Sir John Betjeman make up 0Z20 Butterley MRC to Kings Norton On Track Plant Depot. The 20's look to be being used as a route learner, with a camera in the left window of the cab. With 20142 in its usual immaculate condition, 20007 looks a bit shabby when paired up with is.

Here are some turnstiles for people who want to ride the commuter rail in Stockholm. I pass by this place virtually every week and have often thought I'd like to photograph it. Before borrowing a friend's wide-angle lens I couldn't to it properly. I hope you'll forgive the ISO 640, but I didn't have a tripod with me.
