A Central Railroad of Indiana GP50 in Rail America colors was leading an Indiana Railroad GP38 and a Rail America former Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia GP50 still in Burlington Northern paint on a coal train at INRD's Hiawatha Yard in Jasonville.
The former Milwaukee Road's Latta Sub was a very interesting piece of railroad.

CN 2312 shoves on the end of a southbound stack train flying over the Washburn County E bridge between Standberry and Stone Lake. Horse pastures provided the open gap in tree cover.

Great Kiskadee proclaiming itself the Law West of the Pecos as it perches on a large cactus beside the post office in Langtry, Texas.
STPPs Waneta Turn continues north through Northport, WA. In the past, they used to stop in the small town but have since stopped and instead, head straight to Columbia Gardens from Kettle Falls.

My 86' Ranger with the motel accessory attached is seen to the right in this photo at Lennoxville, Quebec, as CN 394 shakes the neighborhood.
Once again I did the short walk from caravan to road bridge to have this when the weather suited.
Note how the palisade fencing had progressed since the last image taken here.
A vehicle emerges briefly from beneath the cold, dark fog on the southern slope of Mount Tamalpais.
Lens is the DFA 90mm f/2.8 Macro on the 645Z. Multi frame pano with 2 exposure manual blend.
There are a few favorite little views on this side of Mt. Tam, but they all seem to have power lines passing right though the scenes. Can you believe I had to edit out 3 such power lines passing right across this frame?
The westbound Zephyr emerges from Tunnel 1 on a beautiful October morning. The Zephyr is a little more colorful this morning as the "Pepsi Can" P42DC, AMTK 160, is second out on the headend. The scenery is trying to help out as well as fall colors are reaching their peak here along the front range.
