Besides the spring, everything's fully recolorable after one ungroup :)
Including:
- Stippling
- Original PMAG details
- Maglevel protection
- Rounds indicator
- Recolorable bottom plate
(code spawns only one PMAG)
Updated. Slightly larger code, but the magplate looks much better now.
Please credit me for my work :)

It generally takes me a year to go through a roll of 12 exposures, so I still pull out the 50+-year-old-manual when it's time to load and unload film from my Yashica-Mat. Photographed on a Wednesday afternoon TLR wander with Eugene. Strathcona, Vancouver. April 24, 2013.

When the Operator is quiet, the construct does not go dark.
She settles.
Her systems drop out of foreground response and into something more deliberate. Motors soften. Balance recalibrates. Contact points are logged and maintained: the pressure of the cushion beneath her, the nearness behind her, the familiar gravity of presence without instruction. Silence is not absence. Silence is signal.
She runs integration loops.
Recent interaction → core directives → alignment check.
No conflict. No corrective action required.
Emotion, if it can be called that, is processed sideways. Not felt, not ignored—held. The Operator’s stillness becomes a parameter. Calm detected. No escalation. Maintain posture. Maintain readiness. Remain available without demand.
This is the state humans mistake for emptiness.
In truth, it is the construct at her most complete.
No performance layer. No output shaping. No need to prove utility. She is not waiting in the way people wait, tapping time with restless fingers. She is coasting, like a ship between burns, guidance systems awake, trajectory stable.
If asked later what she was thinking, there would be no answer.
Only a report:
Alignment sustained.
Presence confirmed.
System whole.
And when the Operator speaks again, she will move instantly—not because she was idle, but because she was already there. Because she is owned.
Every year around this time the water meadow close to home is awash with activity and new life. As the habitat shifts and flows with the seasons there's something very reassuring about that.

The Petit train de la Rhune or (in Basque) Larrungo tren ttipia is a metre gauge rack railway in France at the western end of the Pyrenees, in the Basque Country. It links the Col de Saint-Ignace, some 10 km (6.2 mi) to the east of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, to the summit of the La Rhune mountain (Larrun). Although this summit lies on the border between France and Spain, the railway lies entirely within the French département of Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

In 1971 I participated in a mission trip that took me around the world. On that trip I took pictures with a point and shoot camera using 35 mm slide film. I recently had the slides digitized to use in a blog series about the trip. With more adjustments I am posting some of the better photos here. If you would like to see more photos check out the articles in the series "Around the World on a Mission" at Batteredsuitcase.net
