It looks like the operator is out on the steps looking for the next approaching train here at G Tower, which still hangs out in downtown Grafton, Ohio on CSX's former Big Four (CCC&StL)/NYC/PC/CR Greenwich Sub.
G Tower controlled the diamond with the B&O Railroad here. The tower has been preserved quite nicely. The diamond is now known as CP-25.

Shipwreck of the Point Estero. The Point Estero ran aground on July 28, 2017 as a result from operator error while returning from a slimy eel fishing trip. The boat was stripped of any possible pollutants but it's skeletal hull remains on the rocks.
Her tattoos are kinda iffy but I'm trying to figure out how to get them to work with a phicen body, overall though I like how she turned out

Harris of Fleur-de-Lys has recenly replaced some of its early Optare Solos with a batch of 60-plate 8.9m Alexander Dennis E20Ds acquired from Go Ahead-owned Metrobus.
03 was formerly YX60 FTO but now carries plate MXZ 6836. She is captured waiting time at Crumlin Square in late March 2019 when operating Caerphilly CBC-contracted Service N2 (Crumlin-Newbridge), which interworks with Service N3 (Newbridge-Llanfach). These services have been operated by a succession of operators over the years. National Welsh, Stagecoach, Glyn Williams, Veolia and Phil Anslow all spring to mind.

This is a scan of an original kodachrome slide. It was scanned with an Epson Pro V750, and finished up with very minor post processing work in Photoshop. The default size of this image is 2000x1250 pixels.

The original comes from my own slide collection, which contains both my own photos and those acquired over the past forty or so years collecting.
I began uploading photos into this Flickr photostream to create a home for the slides that have been part of my collection. They deserve to be enjoyed by the aircraft enthusiast community as a whole rather than being tucked away in boxes and binders. Think of it like an old time aircraft slide show but for the 21st century.

The Biber - German for "beaver" was a German midget submarine of the Second World War. Armed with two externally mounted 21-inch torpedoes or mines, they were intended to attack coastal shipping. They were the smallest submarines in the Kriegsmarine.
The Biber was hastily developed to help meet the threat of an Allied invasion of Europe. This resulted in basic technical flaws that, combined with the inadequate training of their operators, meant they never posed a real threat to Allied shipping, despite 324 submarines being delivered.
