I have been watch this Barn owl for some time now over the winter months, but the light has generally been unkind. Today it shone and so very bright to capture 'Barnaby' quartering a field in and around Lavenham. A truly magical sight.

On March 28, 2008, I rode with my friend from Brooksville, Florida on a NARCOA (North American Railcar Operator's Association) sponsored excursion in his Railcar (aka:Speeder) from Lake Wales to Frost Proof, Florida and back along the Florida Midland Railroad (a Pinsley Railroad) line between Lake Wales and and Frostproof, Florida.
This series of 2 Photographs shows a former AMTRAK Locomotive somewhere along the Florida Midland Railroad Line, somewhere between Frostproof and Lake Wales, Florida. The only marking that I see on the this Locomotive are the letters AN.

I looked in Google Earth and discovered that the Depot is still there at 118 East Wall Street, however the B & O Caboose is gone, no longer there in front of the Depot. However, there is a short piece of Panel Track directly in front the Depot.

The operator who requested this sent a bog standard AK-47 to us, missing it's stock, and asked for a full tactical conversion.
The handguard has been severely remodelled with top rails, and better grip/gas block cover, but set into the remaining woodwork (on request). An AEK style recoil reduction system was also added.
Receiver was stripped and in parts the metal work re-stamped. The dust cover being notable, being a new piece entirely, with integral rail.
A solid folding stock was made, with detachable cheekrest, and the grip was remade and modified with ergonomic inserts.
Suppressor was added for potential night/stealth operations.
Finally an all-purpose mid-range scope was added, with it's own top rails for BUIS, torch, laser etc.

Started with the handguard area, couldn't make a good custom gun for it so decided to go to town on an AK instead. I apologise to the purists lol. Didn't think it was SPW enough at first but thought why not and added some extras.

The 333 is coming to the end of its time with Arriva and their Brixton (BN) base. From 20th January next year, it will return to Go-Ahead's Stockwell (SW) base with new EVs. GAL previous ran the 333 using a mix of old E400 Tridents, PVLs and B7TL WVLs but it'll look completely different when they take over again.
The contract change has meant the future of the current allocation is uncertain. Rumours have persisted that these HAs will go to Thornton Heath and the HVs could go to Dartford or stay at Brixton for a different route. Time will tell.
For now, LK66HBN (HA43) is at Elephant & Castle/Newington Causeway beginning a run to Tooting Broadway via Stockwell and Streatham.

Sample photo from a Cosina CX7. Apart from a couple of photos from this 2nd try roll, which came out decently sharp, I find the lens to be a bit soft; however, it could be this particular sample of the camera. I got a lot of other better point and shoots, so this CX7 may just sit on the shelf.
