LX-MIK on short finals to land back at Shoreham

Along with sister-ship LX-STN, the pair arrived from France mid-week and have been in and out of the Airport - flying down to the Beachy Head area and back several times each day on what appeared to be a Corporate exercise with different back-seaters each time

Both have now departed back across The English Channel towards Le Touquet

The same customer who ordered the Alexius, wanted the same rifle, but with a better scope, so Sweetwater created the 'Crantus' scope, for maximum range.

This is basicly the MKII of the Alexius, most things are improved.

Hey guys!

I decided to do some modding(I know) and here is what happened!

The M4 has a 3x magnifier(from ARC), Hollow sight(from HAC), suppressor(from spy pistol), and foregrip (from XMP).

I also added a pouch from an LCV onto the rails, which, in my opinion looks kind of like an IR laser.

I put a small pouch and backpack from the new webgear onto the front and back of a PCV and added a stun grenade to the back.

Please bombard me with questions if you are curious about anything on the fig!

C&C appreciated!

God bless!

Not really based off of anything specific. I simply wanted to try my hand at painting a multi-cam along with the Combat Brick vest mod, and Brickarms m110 mod.

I was extremely pleased with how the vest turned out. I've seen many people in the community do this mod so I decided to try it along with a new method of sanding down the edges of the vest to give the rig a more rounded look. I also tried adding a different variety of pouches and such to the vest since I typically do the same three mag pouches and radio combo.

The legs however, I was not to happy with. The camo was my first attempt at painting a camo in a while. I got the idea from @LJH91 multicam sniper and decided to try it. I would have liked to blend the colors together a little better, especially the white. and the those damn cp knee pads! I didn't have my usual tools to apply those so they're a little crooked.

The m110 mod is pretty simple but I like it. I was worried about the TT scope looking out of place with the brickarms weapon but it actually fits alright.

Let me know what you guys think. Comments and faves are always appreciated, Thank you!

Really like the look of this.

The date is October 9, 1973, and the tower clock reads 11:09 a.m. Grand Trunk operator/leverman Keith Brown is relaxing in his office chair at "Fort Wayne Tower" northwest of the town of Valparaiso, Indiana. GTW towermen controlled the crossing of their railroad with the PRR Ft. Wayne Line (hence the tower's name), and the roughly paralleling Nickel Plate. Today, the location (bereft of a tower) is known as "Spriggsboro" or "Wayne".

There's a lot to be seen in this image by an unidentified photographer from 45+ years ago – the operator's plain work clothes, the lever frame at left, the Folger's coffee can – perhaps serving as a spittoon – the block line apparatus and sounder, the train sheet on the desk, not to mention the pencil sharpener and lunchbox. While relaxed, the look on the operator's face suggests that he means business, and will spring into action once his services are needed to line up an approaching train on one of the three railroads he served.

Interlocking towers had a unique aroma of stale tobacco, cigarette smoke, creosote, dust, and sometimes coal smoke. While this doesn't sound appetizing, it is an aroma that evokes a lot of fond memories for me. I never visited Fort Wayne Tower, but I know I would have felt at home there.

66728 "Institution Of Railway Operators" sweeps past Littleport, with the 6E86 0820 Middleton Towers to Monk Bretton sand train - 06/04/2021.

I wouldn't normally shoot the train that far back, but I thought the inclusion of the tractor might add a bit of interest to the photo.

I find it hard to believe that the boat race took place on the River Great Ouse behind me, just two days previously. I bet the rowers would be pleased that it didn't take place today, if they knew what the weather was like. Gosh, it was cold on that river bank!

Captured this Harris's Hawk at a falconry display in Kent with my grand daughters.

Sharp eyes may notice a thin wire attached to the bird's back, not a hair on my lens, it is a tracker in case the bird decides to go for a joyride around the countryside.

Trailing is one of the many Conrail GP's that made their way to the Midwest after no longer being needed in Class 1 service. This GP8 rebuild started life with the Erie Railroad in 1950 as a GP7.
