Operator's station in the Transmission room on the 5th floor of NBC NY. Transmission is like the "switchboard" for all feeds into or out of the NBC plant. The left side was used primarily to monitor and control video quality of all feeds entering or leaving the building. In this photo, Arthur Zarakas is checking an incoming feed.

These were one of the first Operator positions to do away with cords. TSP positions were hooked to Crossbar Tandem offices.
