Some men stand up to their enemies. Others, haunt them.
"Boogeyman, hmm,
Quite a man. Would give his life for his mates. Filipino origin. Great sniper and rifleman" -Ryan Farthing, HTS CEO.

In the back corner is the operator's stand. Lego even added a pair of levers to the control switch of the battery box. One is a functional grey beam coming under the stairs to make controlling the ride easier for the real people. The second is the rods coming up for the minifig operator to control. Such a nice touch. And of course, all the mechanical bits have to be behind a fence to keep the kiddies safe.

My husband Kent who has been driving for the City of Edmonton for 33 years. A coincidence that his badge # and years of service are the same. We were on a "Date"! We both drove Charters to the Edmonton Eskimo's Football Game. Then we sit together and have burgers and cheer on the team. Great way for a Scotsman to take his wife out on a date and get paid too!
We were actually having lunch in an Amish bakery. The food was amazing, and we found this awesome telephone.

Buses at the Northern Division at 14th & Decatur Streets NW stand idle May 23, 1968 after Amalgamated Transit Union Local 689 members voted to refuse to work nights until an exact fare system was implemented following the slaying of a bus operator during a robbery.
Bus operator John Earl Talley was slain at 20th & P Street NW during a late night robbery May 17, 1968.
Talley’s death led to the first major transit system in the country adopting the exact fare system after a wildcat strike and the subsequent refusal of bus operators to work at night.
