Identified as Dr. James Harris Rogers (1856-1929) of Hyattsville, Maryland, inventor of the "loop aerial" and holder of numerous patents relating to telegraphy, telephony and radio.

I forget to check the operator of Mercedes Benz 516CDI Ferqui AH22 ATK on rail replacement standby at Havant today, 8th November, 2025. It was new to North Yorkshire operator Atkinsons of Kirkby Malzeard.
A rather heath robinson roof arrangement on this Leyland Daf 400 in the fleet of Forward Travel, Tiverton. The bodywork on this is apparently a Premier C16F conversion and it joined the fleet from Seward Coaches.
Now the presence of two Peugoet 505 estates would generate a lot of interest, this was however 1999 and I didn't bother.
