Big waves mean big crashes. Here are a few of my favorites from an overly productive morning at the Wedge (Newport Beach, CA)
not sure if it was just the rotten wood at the base or maybe some vehicle helped speed things up with a bump.

Il est déconseillé de s'appuyer sur un garde-corps en fil de fer, surtout lorsque vous portez un bikini minuscule ...
It is not advisable to lean against a wire guardrail, especially when wearing a tiny bikin
Totally didn't intend on picking Howleen up today but ended up checking the stores anyways. Whoops. ^^; I swear this will be the last one for a while! :x
Chacma baboon, Kruger National Park. On early morning and late afternoon drives along the Sabie River close to Skukuza (the H4-1 route) one is almost certain to encounter the baboon troop which frequents this area. Even if photographs are not to be had, the young's antics and almost human-like qualities make for great fun!

Fuji Pro 800Z (expired 2008, shot at 400)
Shot some expired Fuji Pro 800z in 220 format and apparently there was no backing paper (or very thin paper) so that every time I opened the window on my Kiev 88 film back to see how many photos I had left it exposed a bright circle in the frame. At first I was disappointed but now I have come to really like some of them! Funny how that happens. Take care, everyone!
I was standing in the parking lot and I spotted an Anna's Hummingbird. I quickly shot at the same time as a noisy truck with it's backup beeper sounding. I had no time to check my setting before it fled. 1/8000 is quite fast but I would have been better helped by upping my ISO. It did stopped the wings though.
Someone found the watermain buried under Victoria Street - which this evening has a new role, as a river.

Three firefighters at ease, watching the Kingsday crowd. Spinning around what seem to be plastic toy helmets :)
Kingsday Amsterdam 2023.
I was just messing around with amoebae's lens textures and look what happened. :D
Edit: The big overlay, if you can call it that, is not a len, it's steam but I still messed up. :D
Like this young Kestrel who is learning to hunt and dropped it's bug, I dropped the ball and realized I was not using the right settings with my new camera. The ones I used this morning were recommended by Photographer Steve Perry and seemed to be a better match for my needs, but I will explore other setting also.
I was surprised this Kestrel was eating these bugs as I recall they can be rather sticky when handled. One of it's sibling quite delicately ate its bug.
