I did not originally plan for this to be a square-format shot. But I wasn't paying attention when I developed this roll, and accidentally used only enough developer for a 35mm film. Consequently, over ~1/3 of every frame did not get developed. Oops.

Here at the hotel, breakfast is officially until 9am. Generally, landlord, Iain, will go to 9:30am. As a regular guest, if they are quiet, he'll let me have breakfast at 10am as the latest, so I can have a lay-in at the weekend.

It generally takes me just over an hour to shower, dress & do make-up. Woke up this morning before the alarm. Went to the toilet, then snuggled down in bed again. Had a look at the time before dozing off again.

9:20am?!?!?!?

I'd set the alarm for 9:45am instead of 8:45am!

Very quick shower, dressed, make-up and just enough time for a few photos before rushing down to breakfast at exactly 10am!

An Acorn Woodpecker drops some of their nest lining...

Believe it or not, that's one of the new double-deck coaches that have been recently introduced on NatEx service A1 (VCS - Luton Airport). Impressive looking beasts admittedly, but bloody ugly. So ugly, in fact, that my camera refused point blank to focus on it. Oh well.

Incidentally - I've seen these coaches referred to as the Caetano "Boa Vista" in certain publications, but seeing as Caetano themselves market it as the "Invictus", that's what I'll be calling them.

accidentally trespassed on a bad lm....had to take a quick pic, the setting was so beautiful! ;-)

When I rearranged all of my books a couple of years ago the middle shelf in this book case looked fine, but it now appears that I overloaded the shelf. I should probably either put a support under it or reduce the number of books on it!

A macro of a ladybird in flight

I'm not sure how this happened.

Just getting ready to wrap my lips around that tap... ha ha ha

this coal conveyer hall was one of my fav parts of the plant, and i took a ton of great shots up here. but naturally due to my own ineptitude, the only one that turned out was the boring one. guess i need to plan another trip around a rainy day. ugh.

This is my fail in Moonee Valley wile on hard waste.

An unlucky white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla), from a boat trip on the island I'm from (together with eagle tour guide Ole Stokke).

It is ringed and called 1116. Here it was 13 years old, but I also photographed it later on, when it was nearly 16. (They can live for more than 20 years in the wild.)

It was ringed in a nest in Finnøy in Ryfylke further south.
