Serene Scene on 13

Nikon z9, 105mm, 1/100s, f/11, ISO 100

Today was the second and last day of the Pheasant Glen Ladies Club Championship. It was fun being the rules chair and Marshall for the day (not to mention photographer!). It’ll take me a day or two to get through the shots from today, so I’m sharing one from yesterday’s video. I love this hole - so serene and peaceful!

"A quaint little find in Quallicum Beach. Taken July 2013. The 4 foot plus rooster out front was the first thing that grabbed my attention but the home is so quaint with a little quirky thrown in. I loved it." - Lorene Kimura, 2013 myPQB Story Contest

"Don't forget the beach fires in Parksville. This one is in front of Madrona Beach Resort, another of our favorite places. Now, Hot Dogs: check. Marshmallows: check. Chocolate: check. Graham Crackers: Check. Eat, Eat, Eat, then lay back and enjoy the stars shining up above. Heaven." - Susan Watson, 2013 myPQB Story Contest

I was so excited when I spotted this gorgeous pink starfish, I found some very beautiful orange ones too. I even got to pick up some of the stranded ones and put them back into the ocean."

"While living in Nanaimo, I took my dog up to Schooner Cove on Halloween so she wouldn't be frightened by all of the fireworks in town. The trees are lit with lights hidden behind the shrubs. One of my favourites. :)" - Rob Bagshaw, 2016 myPQB Story Contest

"The kids and I love hunting for fossils whenever we come to this part of the island, and we can't resist a trip to the Qualicum Beach Museum, to see their amazing fossil exhibits. In fact, when we were visiting last summer, there was a group of researchers all the way from Germany! Vancouver Island is home to some of the richest fossil beds in the world and the Qualicum Museum's collection has an international reputation." - Netanja Waddell, 2012 myPQB Story Contest

"Eagle tree and Qualicum Beach with the tide out. Taken May 2009. You never know when you will be doing something for the last time.
