When we first came upon Elderberry, I was amazed she was even spotted as she blended into the coastline foliage so well. She is the mist camouflaged Grizzly I have ever seen.

Swirling Stars

Donna M did you guess this was coming out today? This lovely star trail taken on the evening of September 01 is made of 475 shots taken over about 2 hours. I used an app called StarStax to make the star trail. I love these projects.

Hovering

•

Elderberry wandered along the edge of beautiful green ocean tinted from glacial minerals. She was intent to scavenge the best barnacles from the tree branches and seemed to just hover over the water. It’s funny how watching wild animals eating is so mesmerizing.

Exploring by Skiff

On the trip out to Knight Inlet we travel in style, covered, and warm. When we get to Glendale Cove we switch over to these awesome skiffs that let us move around the shallow waters of the cove.
