I turned an old, broken Nikon 18-55mm kit lens into a macro lens using an approximation of this procedure:

These are the parts I had left over, i.e. the bits and pieces removed from the lens in the process.

- Plastic front cover ring

- Two seating rings

- Lens element

A rare ranging linkage 195x Minolta plate machine, how to transform it into a Polaroid camera

I dont plan on mounting filament to the top of the printer. I decided i'd like to stick the electronics on top and hopefully include enough room for a RaspberryPi up there. Here is the prototype. There is a small vent and fan mount for cooling.

Also, threw in a bit of an imprint of the 3DR for kicks.

this is my modified playstation portable system. in this shot you can see the clear enclosure on the front, and the alternate larger joystick. this joystick was modified from a sega dreamcast controller and custom fitted with a dremmel to snap perfectly on the psp.
