Landtank Seat Modification for FZJ80 Land Cruiser. Add an extra 2" of leg room. Blogged here

Roland TR808 Recovered from oblivion restorated from oxide MIDI-fixation and deeper modification. Now it can be sequenced by any midi sequencer/synth. All parts has been hardly cleaned to remove all that dust and oxide who were inside. The TR808 has almost over 25 years old so needed a lot of work inside it.

A pair of new side panels has been done by myself on wood to close the unit, getting away the old plastic side panels that were taking so much space. Now the Roland TR808 is finished with an standard rack width to rack it if needed. A new painting has been aplied on the frontpanel surface, side panels and front side, to prevent the corrosion. I have replaced too the old round phillips screws to a flat allen galvanized screws, so they will never be re-oxidize again. The old power plug has been changed too to a new smallest one. Hope you like the work !!

I love my 808.

The entire kit: new hardened rollers, firing pin and firing pin spring, detent pin and detent spring (trigger mod), and extended slide release. Spring-loaded staking tool and factory barrel tool are on the right.

Replaced the stock rear window with one from a Corvette

SSR rig. Gets about 250 on cold boot, resting temp of 100-112.

The rear of the Vivitar 285HV's hotshoe is a bit odd, and needs filing down to fit on the cheap light stand brackets from DealExtreme. This is my really bad job of it using a saw and too-big file.

These three King Air aircraft are sitting at Springbank and are used in cloud seeding. Operated by Weather Modification LLC they have wing mounted flares which shoot chemicals into clouds. The goal is to change the type of precipitation that falls from clouds. Hail reduction would be helpful in protecting crops in this area.

The corners flanking the cowl hook were interfering with the rack arms, so I removed them.

Although I love my Weber Smokey Mountain it doesn't come with a built in Thermometer.... which is really a must have for a smoker. So I read a few websites and voila....

In which we see my mighty new yellow hacksaw mercilessly bisecting 6-inch sections of 2-inch diameter black PVC drain pipe. "Why?", you might ask..."for to make shorty wheel trays!" I could answer.

I used the grinder to cut out some iron to be able to mount the added steel bar flush to the frontmost part of the original footpeg.

It takes an interesting mind to see such a boring sign and come up with this...

I got tired of the thick border in Vienna, so I removed it. Nib here: apathyonline.net/2006/12/vienna-modification/

I can see using this on the trail or even over the back yard for interesting camera shots.

It sat a little too close to my hamstrings...

Some product modeling. Another view.

Left hand side footpeg first phase assembly initiated. The goal was to test the pegs and see to that they fit on the bike several times during the development phase.

Another pic of the left side footpeg with 3,5 mm holes. The position of the holes are marked out with a scriber and then marked again for drilling with a center punch.
