I had to grind down a bit of the top and the side mounting holes so that it would fit in the cpanel top.
I saw a youtube video where someone modified Shizuka's dress with beaded lace and other stuff and thought, yes that's what it needed! Well, the lace down the center anyway. Except I only have ribbon and sticker jewels, but those randomly placed bows had to go. I also stole Byul's petticoat.
Matchbox Series No4 Dodge K Series Stake Bed Truck Restoration. 1966 to 1968 - 1-75 Series. This is the second Stake bed I am restoring. I bought it years ago at a swap meet. The body is stripped and ready for paint. The Citristrip does a great job and washes off. This is a good body to restore.
This is a photograph from the 1st round of the 2015 Mullingar Road League which was held in Belvedere House and Gardens, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 6th May 2015 at 20:00. This year the 5KM was ran on a modified route based on the route from the last couple of years. Tonight the final 1KM stayed within the Belvedere Gardens bringing runners down to the lakeside for a second time and finishing along the aptly named Stream Of Life. The route modification meant that the race offered a slightly faster route than the hill finish of previous years.
The race is promoted by Mullingar Harriers for the Pat Finnerty Memorial Cup. Competitors need to run 3 races out of the 4 races in May (any order) to be considered in the overall placing in categories at the conclusion of the league. Over 350 people took part in tonight's event. The weather was perfect for running with sunshine with just a little breeze. The new finish area provided a nice space for runners to stay around and chat in the evening sunshine. The Mullingar Road League 2015 has started off successfully and looks to add to the success in the history of this great series.
The "Road League" is something of a misnomer but is an indication of the League's origins on the roads around Ladestown Mullingar prior to it's move into Belvedere in 2008. The Road League is the envy of many other races in the country as the Belvedere locations offers a completely traffic free 5KM route.
We have an extensive set of photographs from tonight in the following Flickr Album: www.flickr.com/photos/peterm7/16772614064/

USING OUR PHOTOGRAPHS - A QUICK GUIDE AND ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS
Can I use these photographs directly from Flickr on my social media account(s)?
Yes - of course you can! Flickr provides several ways to share this and other photographs in this Flickr set. You can share directly to: email, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, LiveJournal, and Wordpress and Blogger blog sites. Your mobile, tablet, or desktop device will also offer you several different options for sharing this photo page on your social media outlets.
BUT..... Wait there a minute....
We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. We do not charge for our photographs. Our only "cost" is that we request that if you are using these images: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, VK.com, Vine, Meetup, Tagged, Ask.fm,etc or (2) other websites, blogs, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you must provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us or acknowledge us as the original photographers.
This also extends to the use of these images for Facebook profile pictures. In these cases please make a separate wall or blog post with a link to our Flickr page. If you do not know how this should be done for Facebook or other social media please email us and we will be happy to help suggest how to link to us.
I want to download these pictures to my computer or device?
You can download this photographic image here directly to your computer or device. This version is the low resolution web-quality image. How to download will vary slight from device to device and from browser to browser. Have a look for a down-arrow symbol or the link to 'View/Download' all sizes. When you click on either of these you will be presented with the option to download the image. Remember just doing a right-click and "save target as" will not work on Flickr.
I want get full resolution, print-quality, copies of these photographs?
If you just need these photographs for online usage then they can be used directly once you respect their Creative Commons license and provide a link back to our Flickr set if you use them. For offline usage and printing all of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available free, at no cost, at full image resolution.
Please email petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com with the links to the photographs you would like to obtain a full resolution copy of. We also ask race organisers, media, etc to ask for permission before use of our images for flyers, posters, etc. We reserve the right to refuse a request.
In summary please remember when requesting photographs from us - If you are using the photographs online all we ask is for you to provide a link back to our Flickr set or Flickr pages. You will find the link above clearly outlined in the description text which accompanies this photograph. Taking these photographs and preparing them for online posting takes a significant effort and time. We are not posting photographs to Flickr for commercial reasons. If you really like what we do please spread the link around your social media, send us an email, leave a comment beside the photographs, send us a Flickr email, etc. If you are using the photographs in newspapers or magazines we ask that you mention where the original photograph came from.
I would like to contribute something for your photograph(s)?
Many people offer payment for our photographs. As stated above we do not charge for these photographs. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that the photograph(s) you request are good enough that you would consider paying for their purchase from other photographic providers or in other circumstances we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.
Let's get a bit technical: We use Creative Commons Licensing for these photographs
We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?
The explaination is very simple.
Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.
ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.
Above all what Creative Commons aims to do is to encourage creative sharing. See some examples of Creative Commons photographs on Flickr: www.flickr.com/creativecommons/
I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
Don't like your photograph here?
That's OK! We understand!
If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.
I want to tell people about these great photographs!

I originally posted this as "What is it?", but confess it would have been nigh-on impossible to get right.
This is the shadow of the flamethrower mounted on HMS Vindictive for the Zeebrugge raid in 1918, preserved at the Imperial War Museum North, Manchester.
One of two flamethrowers made by J Morris & Sons, Manchester, and adapted for use at sea, it was designed to assist the assault on the mole (a kind of large pier) at Zeebrugge whilst HMS Vindictive lay alongside, discharging her raiding parties onto the mole. The ship was also fitted with an 11-inch howitzer, two 7.4-inch howitzers, 8 trench mortars, two 2-pounder pom-poms and 6 lewis guns along with significant structural modifications to assist landing on the high mole and protect the crew from gunfire.
The assault was designed to disrupt the use of the port and it's neighbour Ostend by German submarines and destroyers which lay inland and came through the ports to attack Allied shipping in the English Channel and the North Sea. The plan was to sink blockships in the narrow lock in Zeebrugge, but this meant disabling the defenses to allow the blockships to get through - the assault on the heavily defended mole was the primary part of this.
Submarines, destroyers and small motor boats were involved in the raid as well as the battle-cruiser HMS Vindictive, but ultimately the raid failed, or was at best partially successful. The blockships made it to the lock area, but were unable to seal the channel.
The bravery of the men who took part is reflected in the fact that ELEVEN Victoria Crosses, Britain's highest military award, were given for the actions at Zeebrugge and Ostend.

Cross Processed (XPRO) Fuji Sensia 100 ISO Color Slide 35mm Film. Shot with the Nikon N8008s, scanned using the Epson V600. I processed this film using C-41 at Costco. Some places refuse to cross process, just find someone who will. It'll be fine...
This is from my first roll of cross processed film. I've never done this before, and I'm really pleased with some of the results. Now that I know a little more about what's going on, I may shoot a little more when I find cheap slide film to play with.
Also, I shot this roll as if it was 200 ISO film, over exposing it slightly.
An eery silhouette. Also made this into black and white.

Picked up a replacement receiver cover for my SKS with a 3-way Picatinny rail system on it, upon which I mounted Tasco Pro-Point red dot sight that came with my pre-owned Ruger 10/22. Note the case deflector forward of the scope, to keep the scope from getting knocked by the ejected shell casing, forcing them sideways instead. I have no idea how the sight will hold up, since it's mostly intended for rimfire, but reports say they're tough. Oh well, we'll see!
My hope, since I lucked out and got one of the higher-quality SKS rifles, is that I can get it shooting accurately enough to be decent 'brush gun' for hunting black-tail deer over on the island. 7.62x39mm is ballistically very close to 30-30, after all. I can practice with surplus ammunition, then feed it nice JSP hunting ammunition in the fall for even better accuracy.

Additional IR receiver and M motor have been added and original shock absorbers have been replaced with 6,5L, hard spring. I tried to keep original look as much as possible and just to add this cool function. VIDEO: youtu.be/QBd-y9XLZOc

This image has not been white balanced, other than what the camera thought was right -- which is almost certainly wrong, because of the lack of the IR filter, which biases images red. I like the result, though — and it did look kind of like this, as I recall it. There was an odd, wine colored red all along the horizon.

Custom 1953 Buick
Just finished June 1, 2009. Hundreds of small modifications and hand made pieces all form this into the 60's style custom that you see here. Of course, lots of work was required to make these modifications fit properly. 6 Long years of work and lots of money went into this custom. It has not been seen in any show and is all new. Unfortunately, because of the economy I must sell. The price is a firm $60,000. Please contact me larry@wonder-years.com.

Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably http://www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets

The wiring up is lacking a fuse. I have installed one after this image was taken.
Wire one up in line just next to the terminal for the battery, there is plenty of room for that.

You can now see the modifications I made to the Titan, with the help of my two friends, John Anderson and Neal Immega. This will save me many hours and lots of grief! This water system-modification, is gravity fed from a five-gallon plastic bucket on an upper shelf (the plumbing in my shop went south long ago).
I inverted the pleat, edge stitched the inverted pleat, made a mock placket to make sure the pleat stayed put, and added MOP buttons that are 1/2" from the edge of the placket and 1 1/4" apart. I made a Size 8, fabric is Trick or Treat Street by Sheri Berry. I think I want one for each day of the week!
This is a 53mm pf basket fitted to an Aeropress. I still haven't tested it. Why did I do this, 'cause I could, no other reason so far.

Two words, I got bored... oh wait that's three. Oh well, so I decided to carve away on serenity's face yesterday, it's looking good so far, but I still have the right side to do. I got sick of how simple and ordinary her bone structure looked. I mean really? Why was her nose so pointy and her cheeks so formless in the first place? IDK... but yeah, this is the most fun mod I've done yet :)
Cedrenn has a new face and I'm much more happy with it! I felt with the last faceup I'd been a bit too timid, giving him a more prince charming vibe. But this one's seen more, he's been Mr. Nice Guy and he's experienced the other side too, his face should reflect that.
