At Carter's Steam Fair, on the seafront lawns.

The Austin J40 pedal car was actually made by Austin Motor Company itself, at a specially built factory in Bargoed, South Wales. There is an interesting piece here about the model and its history. I note that it is said that cars modified for fairground use often had twin steering wheels: I think I remember this from my own childhood. These cars have only one wheel, per original specification.

Super Robot model. I think this was either a model given away at doctor's offices or some sort of model given away by a Japanese pharmaceutical company (the name of a pharmaceutical company is printed on the bottom flap).

It says "Super Robot #2" in Japanese. I think it's more "cute" than "super". Maybe even feminine robot?

Cherry blossoms with beautiful Asian models in traditional Japanese Yukata.

The traditional Japanese yukata was prepared by Sylvia Wardrobe provider and Stylist for these photos.
