A postally unused Gifford Series postcard.

The Hastings Model Village took three years to build and opened on the 19th. February 1955. As well as a castle, it featured models of classic Sussex houses including oast-houses and timber-framed buildings.

The Model Village was forced to close in December 1998 after vandalism caused £5,000 worth of damage.

A model of a Dilophosaurus, 'double crested lizard' that existed in the early Jurassic period. It was a carnivore although because it had a weak jaw it was probably a scavenger, This was taken in Birdland, Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucester and featured in their Jurassic Journey attraction for 2015.

My daughter is trying to help me with my images for my shop.

So many people will say "it would be so nice to see it on a model"

Well, I don't have a little girl, and my son-in-law would kill me if I used his son as a model!

So my daugther and I thought it might be a good idea to show the dresses on one of my dolls....the bad thing is, my doll is a "premie" size... :(

But we thought it wouldn't hurt to use her.

I think I will blam my daughter for not giving me a granddaughter! LOL
