the present weirdness pales to this change... look at her, she is not dated and this picture is approaching 100 years old... in time she was closer, much closer to the Wild west, Civil War, Queen Victoria, etc... than 2019...

Engineering model of the Robonaut 2 (R2 for short, there are a lot of scifi geeks at NASA!). The flight model R2 will be launched aboard STS-133.
Hand-held at 250mm. Praying to the anti-shake gods.
Update: Thru some research, I have found that the softness of the image can be attributed to the fact that the model is usually vibrating. :)
