Here's a really unique one; when it was originally released in 1961, the US Navy had a conniption when it was learned that Soviet agents were buying the models. Allegations of security breaches were made, but ultimately proven untrue. The end result was huge sales for Revell from the extra publicity! This boxing is from 1975 and is exactly how I remember seeing if for the first time in Woolworths on Charlotte Street in Sydney NS. Wanted it badly but had to wait a while. Thankfully we have Ebay now!

Started adding more roofing using material from Builders In Scale.
Tried a bit of shadow with an old model tree I had.
1/4" scale country store diorama.
The Model 1S is the Softail-version of the Model 1. It is just a $1,000 more than the M1 and comes with all the good stuff including EVO power, Baker tranny, Metzeler Tires, springer front end and D&D Performance Exhaust.

The model was the 1/76th scale Royal Mail Defender; I removed all the Royal Mail lettering and replaced it with fire brigade crests and lettering. Roller shutter lockers were added to the bodywork and a blue light bar was fitted to the roof.
Some recent Hot Wheels, sometimes (when I have time) I have a light browse of them but the Esprit was the only one I wanted last time I did that. The other two were bought for me by my mum, who still buys me one annually, despite me approaching 30....
The issue of Model Collector underneath was the one that contained my star letter at the age of 12!
