Toasted roll smothered with homemade meatballs and mozzarella finished with marinara
Comensoli's Italian Bistro & Bar
(Kalamazoo, MI)
Savoury lamb meatballs with tangy barberries, oriental spices and lots of fresh green herbs. Simply browned in a frying pan and take them without the sauce on a picnic or outing.
The Ikea here does not sell the delicious horsemeat balls like they do in Europe. Here they are pictured with gravy, lingonberry sauce and veggie patties.
This was the meal my family had for my 21st birthday: sweet and sour meatballs and cabbage (my great-grandmother's recipe). It might look like slop, but it sure tastes good!
Meatballs were fantastic, too bad there was no real sauce to speak of! www.suziethefoodie.com/recipe-review-jamie-olivers-meatba...

93 Summit Avenue
Neptune City, NJ
4 lbs Hamburger
2 cups bread crumbs (I used day old plain bagels and Magic Bullet Deluxe-22-pc Blender Set, 1set)
4 eggs
1 cup cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg Lipton beefy onion soup mix
Mix all ingredients together and shape into even sized balls. I used the Oxo Good Grips Cookie Scoop. Bake in 400 oven for 1/2 hour till cooked complete. Allow to cool. Place on clean rack and freeze till hard (about 1 hour). Remove and place in freezer storage bag.
