MARIETTA, Ga. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District operates an environmental and materials testing lab that serves as the southeast's Materials Testing Regional Technical Center of Expertise. It's one of only a handful of USACE labs in the nation for materials testing and ranks among the highest in combined technical knowledge and experience. I have changed my philosophy about cutting up photographs, now that I am thinking about making collages. I am buying photos, cheap throw away photos, specifically for a face, or a group of faces. Here, the face that interests me is that of the figure on the left. He looks like a spiffy example of the prototypical John Steinbeck The Grapes of Wrath figure. Too dressed up, obviously.

Paper gruixut, d'aquarel·la o cartolina blanca, pintura acrílica o tempera, pinzells i un got d'aigua. Un objecte pla que puguis fer pressió, no cal que sigui gran. Pot ser un llibre, un tros de cartó, s'ha de tenir present que potser s'embruta.
Material divers per fer textures, ex. Cotó, paper de bombolles, un rodet, un tros de tela, etc.
