As the light breaks through the fog, a spider web in revealed in a maple tree.

As the days grow shorter and cooler the deciduous tree leaves take on the pretty warm hues. Some years we are blessed with more color then others, due to the environmental conditions. This year we are blessed!

Note; Added a filter to create a slight painterly effect.

The trees have finally filled out with their leaves and made some pretty canopies over the streets in town. I believe this one is a red maple but the leaves seem brown when the sun stays hidden behind the clouds. One day I got some warm backlighting which turned the leaves to gold and amber. Natural light can change a mood so quickly.

Happy bokeh Wednesday....

Acer buergerianum is a species of maple native to eastern China, Taiwan and Japan. The specific epithet is a patronym honoring Dutch plant hunter J. Buerger.

Autumn in Melbourne is always beautiful, with many wonderful deciduous trees full of colour like these maple leaves, which are quickly gaining the rich gold, orange and red tones of the season.

Melbourne has experienced a wonderful Indian summer this year, and as a result, not only are there still plenty of beautiful blooms about, but the Autumnal colours are starting to appear.

On the Branches of Peace

A starling resting on blooming maple branches.

Sunlight catches the metallic shimmer of its feathers while it stands, almost thoughtful.

While the world murmurs about unrest somewhere far away, nature continues in its own rhythm.

Blossoms open, the sky turns blue, and the bird simply watches.

Photographed with Canon R7 and Canon RF 800mm F/11 – handheld, no grand setup.

Just a moment, light, and silence between two breaths.

Sometimes, it is enough just to pause and observe.

Na granama mira

Jedan čvorak na rascvjetalom javoru.

Sunce hvata metalni sjaj njegova perja dok stoji mirno, gotovo zamišljeno.

Dok negdje svijet bruji o nemiru, priroda i dalje diše svojim ritmom.

It was worth going to the supermarket on Thanksgiving Day just to get a photo of this maple tree. Reminds me of dino bone! :))D

Maple leaves - Japan

From a recent walk on the River.

While cold weather is upon us here, I'm not ready to give up on autumn colours :-) ...cherishing this beauty I spotted on our Sugar Beach.

Country road along the Trent Canal.

tranquility among the maple trees

This street will be a blaze of red in another week or so. Stay posted for updates.

A colour photograph of leaves in the rain.

Took a sunny afternoon walk through a forest path, enjoying the warm sun rays making their way through the trees and the splash of color the Maple Trees sport at the height of the autumn season!

Many thanks for all your wonderful comments 🍂🍁

I love the colours, textures and individuality of the leaves on our Japanese Maple tree.

The light and the wind make this an ever changing sight.

Tree On Fire....

Saturday Karen and I made our way to the south end of Heart Lake Conservation Area; The fall is a fickle time. some years the leaves changing colours are okay and others they don't change much at all. some years they last for a long time others a sudden storm and strong winds and its all over.

This is probably the last weekend for shooting fall colours in southern Ontario, the colour display is off the charts, so may varied shades of red, yellow and burnt orange.

As we were leaving the park we passed by this tree whose branches were bathed in sunlight and the red was ablaze with colour and light. this photo really captured the scene.

Thank you for visiting for marking my photo as a favourite and for the kind comments,
