With photters either side, GB Railfreight Class 92, 92033 passes the Crewe Thunderbird, Direct Rail Services Class 57/3, 57309 "Pride of Crewe". 92033 was running light engine on 0Z23 from Wembley to Crewe ETD for a spot of attention on the lathe.
This was 033's first visit to its former home since being towed away to Dollands Moor (and then Frethun) on 13 July 2011 on 6Z92 after being acquired by Europorte. This also means all twelve of GBRf's active 92s have had at least one return visit to Crewe IEMD since GB started sending their 92s there for heavy repairs and other non-routine work at the start of October 2018.
The young couple Leopold and Josefine Hawelka led the Café Old Vienna on Baker street from 1936, but decided a little later due to high purchase price for a move. At Dorotheer alley, a few meters from the ditch, opened in 1939 the couple the Café Hawelka, which should develop into a legendary place. In the post-war period, painters, architects, poets and writers visited the coffeehouse and turned it into one of Vienna's most important meeting places for artists until the 1970s. The café was even more well-known thanks to Georg Danzer's hit "The Naked Man in the Hawelka".
The couple Hawelka lived every day for their coffee house. Josefine Hawelka was always late at night in the kitchen and prepared the famous Buchteln (Buchteln (pl., sing. "Buchtel"; also "Ofennudel"(n), "Rohrnudel"(n)), are sweet rolls made of yeast dough, filled with jam, ground poppy seeds or curd and baked in a large pan so that they stick together) for the next day. In the evening she diligently did the bookkeeping at the small table near the pillar in front of the bar. Leopold Hawelka, however, sat on a chair by the entrance, opened the door to the incoming guests and sought a suitable place for them, which he still did after the death of his wife in the spring of 2005. He himself died on 29 December 2011 at the ripe old age of 100 and left a significant piece of Viennese coffee house history. The café will continue to be owned by the Hawelka family, as the son took over the business even before Hawelka's death.
Today, despite its rather unspectacular and comparatively young history, the Hawelka is part of every Vienna travel guide and accordingly frequented by tourists. For a moment of silence one waits in vain in the small cafe, because already at the entrance often many people are waiting for a place, because it is permanently bustling. What makes the Hawelka so special is the fact that since the opening in 1939 hardly anything has been refurbished or renovated. The same heavy dark curtains still hang on the windows, the seat cushions are completely worn out, the walls are gloomy, the light dim even in the sunshine, the ground is black like burned and the air always smoky. Numerous paintings hang on the walls, some of which come from artists who have paid for their consumption with them because they were short of cash.
Due to the location and the popularity of the Hawelka prices are rather high, but to experience the unique cafe, they are paid without complaining. Although today it is a tourist attraction, you must have seen the Hawelka as a visitor to Vienna.
A journalist made a revealing, however mysterious observation: "Always do people go into Café Hawelka and nobody comes out again.
What is the Hawelka doing with its guests? "
(Friedrich Torberg)
gleichwohl geheimnisvolle Beobachtung: "Immerzu gehen
Leute ins Café Hawelka hinein und keiner kommt wieder heraus.
Was macht der Hawelka eigentlich mit seinen Gästen?"

I like these colors too. I swapped the mosaic blocks for halftones because I think this might make for a cool shirt and flashing translucent ghost mosaic blocks jumping around on a shirt seems hard to print. Whaddaya think? Any suggestions?
