makes for a very happy squirrel...
Taken through my window and the image on the right was taken through the window screen...
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
When the night falls down
I wait for you
And you come around
And the world's alive
With the sound of kids
On the street outside
When you walk into the room
You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above
And you lift me up in a wave of love...
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
When I feel alone
I reach for you
And you bring me home
When I'm lost at sea
I hear your voice
And it carries me
In this world we're just beginning
To understand the miracle of living
Baby I was afraid before
But I'm not afraid anymore

I'm not a great lover of photographing captive birds but as I have never seen one in the wild I thought I would make the most of the opportunity.
Such a versatile color, from soft and soothing pastel pink to the wild and wonderful hot pink. I love them all.

30/365 - when every day is an adventure...♥☼
It's actually remnants of a Moon Snail's shell. I found it while collecting seashells at Sanibel Island in Florida several years ago. This theme is a wonderful challenge: it wasn't until I had been looking for a pareidolia for a few days until I remembered this shell!
photo size: 2.37"W by 1.52"H and 6.03cm W by 3.87cm H
Theme: "Pareidolia" The human brain can create meaningful and significant shapes from patterns and textures. Take a photo of a pareidolia you perceive.

When heaven takes you home
And you're at the gates alone
If the grass isn't greener
Come back and check I'm still breathing
When heaven takes you home
And you're untouchable
Tell 'em how you backflip through tragic
Show 'em how the struggle made magic (made magic)
Made magic (made magic)
There's nothing wrong with you
But it has hurt to watch you fade away
I don't wanna see the end of the world without you
There's nothing wrong with you
You're perfect, you're cool
You took the best parts of you
Showed me what love can do
When heaven takes you home
And you're at the gates alone
If the grass isn't greener
Come back and check I'm still breathing
When heaven takes you home
And you're untouchable
Tell 'em how you backflip through tragic

Make me small
So I can fit in your pockets when you go
'Cause when you're gone

I saw these showcases during an exhibition and I got distracted by the light, the shadow and the reflection. I flipped this original picture btw and converted it to blue., As it is Sliders Sunday.
They were part of "Materialism" , which is an ongoing research project and series of installations by DRIFT, that confronts viewers with the raw materials needed to make everyday objects. You can see them hanging now at the ceiling. The work invites reflection on how we use the raw materials at our disposal and whether things can be done differently.
I have to go back and make more photos, this time of the real subject(s).
makes your throat dry and you become kind of gooey inside, it's love. Don't fight it. Take out that Leica M that you're still paying off and start shooting.
