Building my PC inside a G5 case. instead of paying apple 30000kr (3000euro) extra to do the same thing..
PC on the left, Mac Pro on the right. I have to keep my eye on these two. They fight with one another while I'm gone.

Gotta love this card... so tiny that it feels like the USB slot could just eat it up. The only add on to my systems that's actually cute.
Well, after having upgraded the MacPro to Lion in an attempt to get the iCal program to sync using iCloud onto my iPhone and iPAD 2, I lost the wireless connection to my printer. My bil came over yesterday and reinstalled the printer. He told me that I could sync photo stream but would need to upgrade to iLife '11. I couldn't find that bundle but found iPhoto '11 and reluctantly after reading the reviews decided to upgrade. I looked at TimeMachine but couldn't figure out how to do it; so, just dived in with the installation. Of course, I know that my photos are archived on Flickr. That's why I don't worry about losing them. Will update later after this has been completed.
So far, it seems to be working fine. The photos that were on my iPAD 2 that I had deleted from my SD card are now in iPhoto '11 on my Mac Pro. Yay! It worked with all 36,759 pictures that I have on my Mac Pro. :D
Now I'm off to the dentist for my first appointment for a CROWN to repair the tooth that broke on Christmas Eve while we were in Vegas. I pray that goes as well as upgrading iPhoto. :-D (Don't really like going to the dentist.)

just past the half way point of our holiday in Western Australia. The wildlife and landscapes are amazing but the best this is being able to spend so much time with our family and grandson, a true gift!!
Part of the technical support nightmare from a couple of weeks ago: one of these is a dual G5; one is a dual Xeon "Woodcrest"; and one is a quad-core Xeon "Nehalem".
Notice the almost non-existant case evolution between 2005 and 2009 (by coincidence, they're in chronological order from left to right). Internally, the G5 on the left is a bit different from the two Intel machines on the right.
End result: all machines working, one now with Snow Leopard server (the middle one).

2009 Apple Mac Pro
To this day, knock on wood, this computer has been an unstoppable workhorse. Sometimes I wish it needed tinkering with so I could geek out a bit, but nope. All business.
When I got my Billy Bronze (Book Edition) I really liked it big time. Little did I know that he an earlier version that was equally as awesome.
Somebody please stop me from adding to my toy collection because my desk is being taken over by little people.
To follow my theme of shadows, I posed Billy in front of my new & beautiful MacPro. I thought it would ad some drama & I think I was right.
