A day late, but not a dollar short. My bank decided I must be a fraud to buy a Mac Pro, and denied the charge, just as Amazon was going to ship it out for next day air. Hours of drama later and no resolution, it finally had to be shipped the next day.
The good folks at Apple India recently sent us a mighty beast from Apple's Product Line-Up - The 8-core Mac Pro.
Here's a look at the beast
Transportation jig. Made from plywood and a few nail gun shots.
Protects the lego mac during transport by adding rigidity. Plop onto here and cling wrap it on.

Here's a look at the beast
My MacPro Frankenstein machine is now finished.
BIOS upgraded to 1,2 Mac Pro so it can identify the newer Xeon properly.
With 2 x Quad Core 3ghz Xeons, 32G ram it can still hold its own with more recent i7 Quad Core 2012 machines.
Its faster than my iMac 27" Desktop, but only barely.
With 8 cores though, it will munch through heavy duty stuff much *much* faster than a Quad core though.
The HD6870 Video is also way faster than my desktop iMac, so this really is a fast gaming machine now.
Pretty stoked - its now a Mac to the Max, and I already have a buyer :)
