I can't play with my self-portrait today because I must take care of some teacher retirement business that I had ass-u-med had already been done. It seems I'll have to make a phone call to find out more information.

BTW: I have already received 2 retirement checks. One for the month of December, and one for the month of January. Because of new rules, the federal tax was $10 more in Jan. than Dec.

I have called them. I'm still not sure they understand, but I'll keep working with them. My earlier days as a teacher are a little confusing--even to me. They had also forgotten that I had bought back 3 years of service that I had previously withdrawn MANY years ago--to put as a down payment on a house. I was thankful that I'd been saving money in the teacher credit union so that I could pay back that money which UPPED my number of years of creditable service.

Cleaning my office and copying all of the files off my collection of Zip 100 disks so I can recycle my desktop towers. Remember when 100MB was insanely huge? That would only hold three copies of the original RAW file of this photograph.
