I decided that with a new year and a new camera, I wanted to give a 365 sort of project a try. In this case, I just want to do a general photo-a-day thing where I do my best to post at least 1 photo per day, with that photo actually being taken on each given day. This should give me no excuse to not find something to shoot every day, and hopefully will help my understanding of various concepts progress.
I know I'm a day late into the year, but I just decided to do this an hour or so ago.. so I decided that it'd be better to be 1 day late than 2 days, and if I don't start now, I'd do nothing but keep procrastinating on it.
So let's see if I can keep this up.
To start us off, this is just a quick shot of a few of my external hard drives on my computer. They're sitting on top of my Mac Pro, and from front to back, you see my main photo drive (1TB) that houses my photo library. Next with the circle is my Time Machine backup drive (1TB) and then you can barely see a 3rd drive (the blue glow at the bottom) which is a download drive (750GB) and holds a wide variety of random things. I still have much more hard drive space which I won't get into.. yes, I love my storage space :)

Day 1 of our Perth Australia Holiday
We have a G5 tower, which I've worked on, but it has been Heather's machine for nigh upon two and a half years. This one is all mine. Very stoked.
My MacPro was on for some 10 hours before dismounting the mother board to add RAM. But thank God, because of the quiet fans and these giant heat sinks attached to aluminum housings, the mother board was just luke warm, never hot like the former G5.
Devil's Fingers Fungus Egg (Clathrus archeri) also known as Octopus Stinkhorn at Chailey Common Local Nature Reserve and SSSI, East Sussex England
I think I've uploaded this picture before, but I've been playing with Photoshop and I wanted to post an edited version of it, too.
Comments/Suggestions? I'm kind of trying to figure out how to get more of a film-looking result.
