Without this line, I will never buy it. MIC quality control is crazily poor.

Today is the first day of summer......2011. It's a typical day for me. While eating breakfast, I watched The Travel Channel and then took a walk in my yard in South Georgia, USA noticing all the greenery and sunlight. Then I drove into Valdosta for line dance class at the Senior Citizen Center. While looking around, I found a group playing Chickenfoot with dominoes; so, I joined them and drank my Slimfast for lunch. Next I drove out to Stone Creek community and joined a water aerobics class in the swimming pool there. Finally I drove home and ate a Wendy's Apple-Pecan Chicken Salad that my husband had brought for me. We watched the first episode of "Wives and Daughters" on a Netflix DVD. He chopped some onion and yellow squash which I stewed for future meals. As I watched "America's Got Talent," I played "Words with Friends" with a friend in Florida, read a chapter of Cranford on my Kindle app, and read a chapter of the Bible all on my iPhone4. To end the evening I downloaded the videos and photos that I'd taken during the day and uploaded to Flickr.

The optional theme is The Printed Word.

My Christmas present was a Mac Pro. I had to wait until my brother-in-law could come over and set it up. It's so big that we decided to put the CPU where the other computer and monitor sat. The 20 inch monitor and keyboard are now on the desktop. There's plenty of room inside the CPU to add a lot of stuff if I ever need it.

The Magic Flute by Von Krahl theatre - now remixed and explained at Baltoscandal 2008.

Video & sound setup. Last year I converted the system to 2 computers and dualhead2go. My two old workhorses, G5 and 03D still loyally working on the side with Von Krahl's MacPro.

On December 23, 2014, I donated my Mac Pro 1.1 I got in April, 2007, so it may be help someone else express their creativity and productivity.

This Mac assisted me throughout college as well as writing OpenZoom. Farewell, my friend.

Personally, I think the mostly black is classy and intentional on apple's part. ;)

New to me, Mac Pro 5,1

Fairly well spec'ed considering its age, mid 2012.

I've had the case at the rear of the first picture for a while. I still intend to convert it to an ATX PC build when I have the time.

Initial hardware setup. The placement needs work, but all the hardware is finally out of the box.

Will post pictures once my setup is complete. Need another bookcase...
