I thought I would lose my fingers hauling it to my car, but it was definitely worth it.

A wonderful beginning to the 2015 Fungi/Mushroom/Slime Mould season. Still a few months away from the true start, but it was great to get out to Kent to get our first fungi of 2015

Seriously. That's pretty much all it takes to build your own iMac or Mac Pro. Oh, you'll need a case, too.

And a store-bought copy of Mac OS X Snow Leopard, 10.6.

I finally got a copy of this CD by J Dilla. I'm almost shamed to admit that I did not appreciate/know much about his musical talent until after his death 2 years ago.

I find it interesting that so much goes on behind the scenes of music production that is never known.

J Dilla has produced many of my favorite songs from artists like Erykah Badu who dedicated "Telephone" from her "New Amerykah: Part One (4th World War)" album.

The tribute was done after J Dilla's mother told a story that right before Dilla passed away, he would go into hallucinogenic rants about how Ol' Dirty Bastard was telling him he needs to get on the white bus and not the red one. ("Telephone. It's Ol' Dirty, he wants to give you directions home. It won't be too long....")

BTW, the CD is the bomb!!!
