I love this painting. Think I've finally worked everything out to stable. No more KPs on reboot thanks to a little research. Only took about 11 total installs, and 2 different distros, but it seems to be right as rain now. iATKOS 10.7.2 L2

I still say the new Mac Pro looks like a bin...

You know you're going too far if your monitor setup requires you to move sideways in order to take in what's on screen.

A Maxed out Mac pro as priced on the Apple store. No I am not ordering it how rich do you think I am? Isn't it nice of them not to charge for delivery though :-) Education price works out at £10,402.96 saving just short of £1000.

A friends iMac 2012 HD Upgrade, a lot more easy to repair than the latest iMacs.

Still, this i7 iMac is a great machine, hope the new hard drive lasts more than the apple one.

Many thanks to Mario for the photos.

You can contact Mario if you need MAC low price mac repairs in Portugal on is facebook profile www.facebook.com/mario.r.vasconcelos.35/about

After warrantie this repair would cost a lot of money on an apple service provider, but with the help of a apple tech repair friend, the total cost was the price of an hard drive only.

120 Euros…

If you are long time Apple user, you know every time when you unbox their product, there is a special odour. That "factory" odour is gone in recent years until this one. Because not MIC?

I've been wanting a 2nd power cable for my nMP. So I called the Apple Online sales team, the guy i talked to couldn't find any part that was the power cable.

So i got transferred to AppleCare. Explained to the first guy that my current desk setup involved routing my power cable through my desk and i use my nMP when shooting at studios, so i was wanting a spare for my travel setup so i didn't have to unplug and unroute my original cable every time i moved it. He had no clue about how he could get me a spare without me sending my original one back. I ended up being transferred to a "senior" AppleCare specialist. He eventually found a way, i was on the phone with him when he put the order through, he even said "funny, i put it through and they won't be charging you if you don't send it back, they usually do for not returning items, guess its your lucky day". He laughed and then said the usual goodbye and have a wonderful day.

They sent one out via Fedex 2-day Air the day after i called. Just got it earlier today.

Gotta love Apple, didn't pay for a single thing. I would've been just fine paying for a spare cable.
