This lobster looks like he's lost a claw in a previous battle and he's doing his best to grow it back

It looked like Friday Food Fiesta was going to be too hard this week, with the theme of lobster. We live about as far away from the sea as it is possible to get in the UK, and there is nowhere around here that sells such things.
Udeterred, I went into Waitrose and scoured the place. The only thing I could find anywhere was a pack of frozen lobster tails in breadcrumbs. So I bought them.
Twenty minutes in the oven later, and here they are. Served with slices of Duchy Originals Multi Seed Bread, wild rocket and chard salad drizzled with balsamic vinegar, and tartare sauce.
It wasn't half bad.

Lobster bisque. :9 Mommy gave me her leftover lobster pieces and I picked out the meat for soup. I put the shells in the soup to help flavor it more and then tossed them out before serving.
So I’ve been absent way too long. Really no time for taking and editing pictures. Plus I’m into some other stuff right now. Still I decided to upload this pic of Lobster Johnson which I took recently. Hope you like it :)

As i mentioned on my blog a few days ago i'm looking for amazing lobster tails. When a young child going to red lobster with dad and ebony i played with the claws instead of eating it. I thought it was just gross. But now after 20 something years i've finally grown a liking for the little thing.
The lobster above was an Australian 8oz from a place in Chicago called Flemming's. Not prepared as well as the one from Craftsteak but still delicious.

Taken with my little pocket camera while out wandering... definitely need to head back to Hallsands again.

My hubby went lobster fishing last night and brought home this beauty. Bonnie was very, very interested. Unfortunately, there was none left for her.

"Lobster-y Bisque
Small crackers. ($12)
Notes: Loved the description on the menu. "Lobster-y?" Actually, as my friend commented, it was more lobster "bisque-y." This appeared to be a dairy-free lobster broth with shreds of lobster in the soup.
1. The soup was served very hot; it was very rich in flavor. However, I think the heat of the soup rubberized the lobster (at least the couple of pieces that I tried). My friend seemed happy with it.
2. Crackers were great. I'm not sure if these were Cheez-Its or home-made crackers. They didn't taste quite like the white cheddar Cheez-Its. But, they looked a little too pre-fabbed to be home-made.
3. The presentation was kind of messy--it looked like it had been sloshed around.
