Found the big E in Berlin a few years ago on a scrapbooking weekend...you can imagine we all took oodles of photos!
My kitbashed version of a container loader on my HO Scale layout. Loading containers with grain is a very common practice now days but ever facility does it there way. Years of pictures led me to build my own

The canal wharf built at the base of lime kilns constructed in 1842. Now in the excellent Black country museum at Dudley.
The aspect of the design that changed the most was the loading station. Looking at pictures of the real one I was able to replicate it better than the previous version

The one on the left is a Lego wannabe from China. Poor quality plastic and poor fit.
The real deal is on the right.

Two UH-60 Blackhawks were supporting a US Army Pathfinder course.
Over the course of the day, 10th SFG troops, and A co. Blackhawks performed para-drop operations, and then the Blackhawks moved dozens of sling loads, all to support the Pathfinder class. The class will follow with more C-130, CH-47, and UH-60 operations (to include NVG ops) over the next few days and nights.
My boss took me on a run to Jellinbah mine to pick up a C508 and take to Emerald here the Two KW C508's Truck 40 pushing truck 39 onto our truck, truck 39 was f*cked, blown turbo, constantly over haeting, engine shot for sh*t and rear axel locking up.
OK, so I had to make a layout for my monthly class I'm hosting tomorrow night and decided it would be the layout of the day. Also thinking about adding a second page to the THREE layout I did with the prompt "1 word journaling" because it's killing me not to write more. Not sure I'll get to that today, though...so here this is!
Another simple layout with a favorite photo of my daughter and grandson taken in November when they were here for a visit. I decided the three patterned papers was sufficient, and didn't try to add any other embellishments. The journaling is on the tag:
Caleb is a particularly active baby. He’s on the move and busy all day long. It’s so nice to see that he is willing to sit quietly for a book to be read to him. He’ll now toddle off to his nursery, take a board book off the shelf and sit down to look at it. Sarah and I have shared a love of reading since she was Caleb’s age, and it looks like we’ve got another reader in the family.
This VB Commodore SL/E sans engine was winched onto a car trailer following its sale at the auction of Charlie McCarron.

Todays' youth have less opportunity to experience nature due to busy schedules and financial constraints. South-central Oklahoma is largely impoverished with very few sources for environmental education. In FY2014, the Tishomingo National Fish Hatchery (OK) hosted one of the first Career Discovery Intern (CDIP) in the Fisheries program nationwide. The object was to provide field station experience for a college student with uncertain career goals. Beside other volunteers, two Youth Conservation Corps hirees were also employed at the Tishomingo Hatchery in 2014. All of the student workers received extensive experience in all aspects of captive rearing of imperiled and recreational aquatic species including monitoring water quality, feeding, health, tagging, and release into native habitat. On the free motorhome parking at Méharicourt we were able to see how they make traditional blue dye from woad.
One drum is already 'cooking', the second is being loaded with freshly cut woad (la waide).
A bunch of local log truckers got together to do a charity run for a dying friend. The best part was that Toad got to drive his truck in to town-at the head of the 28 truck convoy!
I'm proud to say that I was a part of it. With the donations from the loads, a free will offering afterwards and a charity auction we raised $28 000 for his family!
We were on a sleigh ride but the best part was taking along the yummy hot chocolate to keep us warm. :)

I decided on the sounds of the birds in my yard. I created my own paper by felting fibers onto the page and misting the page with Dylusion sprays over a crafters workshop template. Had fun creating the tropics.
