Oversize load transport equipment parked at the "Olympia-Schiessanlange" in Garching. "Action" shots to follow, stay tuned...
The thing is called a "Kesselbrücke", works basically like a Schnabel car on a railway, the main difference is that the load is vertically adjustable to pass over or under obstacles. Another difference - the load is placed on a dedicated platform between the two halves of the vehicle, therefore the load does not need to have the mechanical stiffness to bear its own weight (loads on Schnabel cars must be stiff).
Total length is 96 m, it has total 34 axles (count them if you wish...).
The load is a 210 t heavy gas turbine for the Heizkraftwerk Süd power station in the south of Munich.

After dropping off a cut of loaded centerbeams, Quincy 12 makes its way down the steep hill that connects the UP interchange to the American Valley. After getting to the bottom of the hill, the crew would take another cut or two of loads to the interchange before heading back to the Sierra Pacific facility in East Quincy to tie down for the day.

Canadian National coal train No. 769 loads at Teck’s Luscar Mine near Cadomin, Alberta, on July 15, 2013. Afternoon sunlight illuminates the Luscar Mine coal processing plant into interesting shapes as the train slowly loads on the spur. This loadout is part of Teck’s Cardinal River Operation and is located on a line operating out of Leyland called the Luscar Industrial Spur.
BLOL 7591 (ex NP GP9) & BLOL 7504 (original IC GP9, now a GP10) loading grain cars for the CN up in Charolette, IL. This was back in 2017 when it seemed to be easier to catch matching set of Bloomer power & catch bigger trains. Still to this day, I love shooting these guys.
Reading & Northern JENR hauls 20 loads of Jeddo coal past the giant Atlantic Carbon Group open pit mine in Hazleton, PA.

The UP CNAOK train takes it’s loads past the elevator located in Ashton, Illinois along the UP Geneva Sub.
On a gorgeous evening "up range", loads from Mintac roar through Nomi junction, heading for Wolf, on their way to Proctor. In the lead is BLE 909, still in its original orange paint, in charge of the set of tunnel motors. This was one of the highlights of my trip to the iron range, and is one of my personal favorite photos.
Always loads of buses so just took a few and chose the best........

Indiana Railroad's Bear Run Mine to Hoosier Energy Merom Powerplant coal loads roll downgrade out of Sullivan, Indiana with a pair of the railroad's "new" SD70Ms on the point. After some low water trouble with the lead locomotive between Sullivan & Duggar, Engineer Chris Vasen now has the train rolling again only a few miles from spotting the train at the plant.
