Yes, I am still alive. I was just strolling through my favorites gallery-man, you guys are good! I am totally inspired by what I've saved from all of you over the years. This is from my most recent trip to Canyonlands National Park. Sunrise at Shafer Overlook, and I had the place to myself.

Slight different perspective of previous shot. Now the huddling Canada geese are slightly visible in the distance amongst the mist.

BRRRR!

While it may not be a new location by any means, Antelope Canyon is still a must see for any photographer...and seeing how it was my first time there and I'm not a fan of those maddening crowds...I have to post some shots of it lol Thanks for looking!

Sunlight at the opening of the cave.

Another shot from our hike on the Boyscout Tree Trail. It sort of looks like a black and white one from earlier, but when I looked back at the times, they were separated by about a mile of trail. This is a great hike to get a sense for what these forests have to offer.

Lightrays on the sky. Mist can make sky and almost anything very interesting. Those rays are created by a sun, which was just below the treeline. If you zoom in, you can really see the details that this camera/lens-combo can make, there is spiderweb in that nearest pine

Vue de la baie de Baie St-Paul une journée nuageuse alors que des rayons soleil sont apparus momentanément. J’ai du me précipiter car la lumière évoluait très rapidement. Après 5 minutes tout était couvert à nouveau.

Parsonsfield, Maine.

Went for an early morning ride after some heavy rain the night before and caught some shafts of early morning light coming through the trees.

Wishing you a Good Friday!! HFF

I wanted to photograph this view with morning mist but mother nature never works the way you expect. Instead, I got beautiful rays through the morning clouds. If you ever go there, I suggest you get a rent-a-car. I had to walk 30 minutes every morning from San Quirico d'Orcia to get here. Not a bad distance but you have to walk on a semi highway.

Scanned slide, image taken November 1999

we were at the end of Conkle's Hollow in Hocking Hills State Park, Ohio, taking our turn at these falls and i was set up about a foot off the ground for the perspective desired, when I saw the refraction on my viewer. So with a little moving around the angle of the lens to the sun I was able to get the full spectrum of color.

Another shot taken on a beautiful day hiking on Grassy Ridge in the Roan Highlands. Great clouds, beautiful light and batches of healthy blooms made for a great day of photography. This is a spot where I spent some time taking shots and also meet a nice couple from Russia and enjoyed some apply pie they graciously shared with me.
