“SOUND ON” for a Fascinating slideshow put together for me by a Great friend, Heather Bashow.
Thank you Heather.
Consistently voted one of America’s finest beaches, Coronado’s beaches glisten year around due to the mineral Mica in the sand, while gentle waves caress the shoreline.
First thing in the morning.... and this is my view.... Fingers crossed, its going to be a good day and last.
One of those beautiful mornings riding around the country roads in Amish country - Ashland, Ohio.

Devon has some wonderful bluebells popping up everywhere this year. Here’s one of my favourite woods with the setting sun casting lovely light through the trees.
From a Memorial Day morning drive in the country. I almost missed this scene as it was tucked away on a bend in the road. Fortunately it was early morning so the traffic on this back country road was nonexistent. Gave me time to enjoying this lovely scene while I shot a few frames.

An old gem of a photograph I took years ago with my old Canon EOS film camera. Somewhere on the way into Cradle Mountain.
A great morning out with Brad Eide and Terry Roberts for sunrise in the Lakes, this wasn't a planned location this morning but after the sun had risen and we had exhausted the previous spot we decided to give this a go as it would take the sun a while longer to rise over the Mountains so we should have still have some mist that hadn't been yet been burnt off.
When we got to the top here there was still mist but the light wasn't the best and what we had hoped for. However as usual if you just wait around sometimes things change up a gear and breifly we got light cascading down on Rydal Water through the mist that was now been burnt away. I'd already shot this scene with some nice light on it a short while before and though that was that so I had moved, but luckily I kept looking back and saw this happening so I up again quickly, reframed, and managed to capture it before it vanished.
A good mornings shoot, and all before breakfast, which vanished almost as quickly as this light did!

Sorry I am so busy right now and not on much, but we walked out on the deck tonight and saw this truly amazing sunset with light rays, and I had to take this quick shot and share with you!
This will be my last light ray shot of this series. I'm sure I'll be able to take some new ones when Fall arrives.
For those interested, I've updated my website with my latests photos. I'm planning to do a larger overhaul in the winter when I have more time.
Until next time!
In a dim Bagan temple, two monks share a profound connection as they light a solitary candle. The flickering flame becomes a metaphor for their interconnected spiritual paths, fostering a serene understanding that transcends the confines of the temple walls, echoing the timeless unity found in their shared commitment to a life of reverence and enlightenment.
The avenue of majestic beech tress offers a lot of opportunities with a low winter afternoon sun at the turn of the year.
Bois du Breuil, Forest of Breuil. A rich forest, part of the commune of Équemauville and overlooking the communes (towns/villages) of Honfleur, Vasouy and Pennedepie as well as the River Seine. It belonged to the Dukes of Normandy until 1204 when King Philippe Auguste conquered Normandy and the forest passed to the French kings. Located 4km from Honfleur, the Bois du Breuil is one of the rare forests on the coastline and is open to the public. This forest, covering 120 hectares, is the property of the Conservatoire du Littoral (Coastal Conservancy). Great variety of species (32 listed species including oak, beech, Scots pine and maritime pine), a fine population of naturalised rhododendrons, large 1,200m path lined with beech trees dating from 1850. Preserved natural wealth thanks to meticulous management in keeping with nature. Access via the RD62 (Equemauville-Pennedepie road). 2 car parks. Round trip, approximately 5km, offering superb views over the Seine bay. www.conservatoire-du-littoral.fr/siteLittoral/115/28-bois... and www.calvados-tourisme.co.uk/diffusio/en/discover/natural-...

Yosemite lightrays. When you organize your visits to any National Park make sure you're there for rhe season you like. I went in the spring to see the usual site: El Capitan and Half Dome. But I've seen plenty of beautiful winter shots of the same sites which looked amazing.
