Took this near sunset shot in New Mexico just over two years ago. I parked for the evening next to an old story that looked like it had been closed for years.

Lighthouse Westhoofd is in the dunes at the Groenedijk in Ouddorp. The square brick tower was built in 1947-1950 and has a height of 56 meters.

Night strolling in Freiburg im Breisgau and dodging the little waterways, called Bächle.

 

They were first recorded in the 1200s and in Medieval times they had a few uses, like helping to fight fires, providing local trades like tanners with water but were also open sewers.
