I got lucky with the lightning today. I caught it 3 times! It took a lot of tries though.

We were under a tornado warning... I was outside anyway so I decided to grab the camera.. It was my first lightning picture.

Earth didn't want this lightning bolt, so it threw back up at the clouds.

There was a really wild lightning storm that blew through last week. I took my camera and tripod and tried to get a few shots. For the first time I was able to get some lightning shots because it was pretty wild. I packed it in when it started to rain and get a bit too close for my taste.

Lightning behind the Louisville Medical complex. This was my first ever attempt to get lightning photos. This was taken with a Tamron 10-24 F 3.5-5.6 lens. This set was taken of the receding edge of the storm.
