Lightning striking from the earth to the clouds (I think. The treeline makes it difficult to be sure.)
Lightning struck a tree two doors down from my house and ruptured a gas line, igniting a fire. The lightning also nocked a large wooden clock off the wall nearly landing on my dad. The fire martial was a half mile away and thought for sure it was closer than that. I was evacuated about 1 hour and 40 min later. Xcel Energy had just arived to turn off the gas line.
