I twist in a leaf tip provides an unusual angle on a water droplet as it flows toward the ground. This image is not turned. Taken last fall in the Cowichan River valley. Tiny bit of blue sky in the bottom.
Reached #8 for its day. Who knows why? I have other photos with ten times the number of comments and favs in the same number of groups, etc. etc. etc. It is a mystery. I mean, I like this photo too, but who knows how Explore works any more?
Another quick dabble with frequency separation technique to smooth skin. It is quite easy to overdo it, and I think I've done that here. More practice methinks :)
To be honest, I'm marking time at the moment. Sarah-Jane and I are doing some new shots this week hopefully. So I can fine tune this technique on some new material.

I havent been around for a couple of days, whoops. Well, Sunday was a day of football and yesterday was a day of appointments. Plus, I dont have any ideas to shoot right now. Well, I do, tons actually, but nothing I can shoot which isnt a big huge concept. I keep putting the big concept stuff off - even though I have a book filled with sketches but I'm going to force myself to start on them now. If I get one a week, then it'll be great!
A short train of chemical tanks looks like an easy task for Brush Type 2 31 286 on June 23rd 1988 as it pulls away from Whitehaven and approaches the sharp curve at Redness Point.
Better scan second time round!
As I've mentioned numerous times, the desert serves up awesome early morning and late evening light, more than making up for its harsh and nasty mid-day light. A passing snow cloud helps balance this scene
The sky was blue and the light was bright on all the still colorful trees and leaves.

Took this photo at a school concert where I helped cover. I was pretty surprised that my 550D could focus and knock out some decent image just from the light source from the candle. Also, this image receive almost none post processing. I have been really busy these days with school and final exams are coming up. So expect more photos after the exams!
It's been awhile since I shot light bulb and I'm looking forward to get more of them. I found these light bulb that caught me to shoot it while drinking at a bubble tea shot.
Shot at Bambu bubble tea shot.
Sai che mentirei
sai che sarei un bugiardo
se ti dicessi
ragazza, non possiamo arrivare molto più in alto
You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn't get much higher
Part of my Light Painting (Set)
Created with an extended exposure using an LED white light unit. This shot (as with all my light painting photos) is SOOC except for the border and signature.
Thanks to Jane in Colour for her encouragement.
