Kaiser Wilhelm Monument in Porta Westfalica.
October waved goodby with sunshine and warm tempereratures and we used the perfect weather for an extended hiking tour on the Wittedindsweg, a crest trail on the Wiehengebirge from Porta Westfalica in the East to the Osnabrück area in the West. Before the sun went down we visited the most interesting spots of the Eastern part of the trail.
Running through your veins
was a slow-ticking clock
counting down the days
and no one could make it stop
all of the time that it takes to figure it out
could be the moments
that you can’t live without

On a Sunday night, this Bangkok intersection wasn't so busy giving some nice light trails. The upper blue light is an overhead pedestrian area with some nice accent marks
Another look at this beautiful chapel ceiling. As the sun and clouds play above the stained glass the light and colors change, adding a presence to the space.

The entrance to EnergieForum Berlin.
I had planned for a wider shot of this with my 12-24mm, but there was construction in front of the building and just above the top of this shot are cables and scaffolding
While on a neighbourhood walk yesterday, this lovely Monarch decided to land fairly close to me, facing the morning light.
Thank you so much for your visits and comments, they're very appreciated! Have a great day!

The last few months have been difficult for me. I have walked in the dark but always wanted to look towards the light. Like on a foggy morning, just before sunrise, during the magical blue moment. The light was amazing.

A special time of day, when you get some beautiful light as the sun rises illuminating the wet sand at Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland.
And no light on the rear... :)

Another image of the Great Sand Dune National Park, taken soon after I crossed the Surge Flow.
Due to the detour (road closure) that delayed us by 3 hours, the sun was about to go below the dunes when we got there.
No epic golden colors here, just light and plenty of shadows; nevertheless, I'm happy with the few images that I got, and they are far better than the ones I took from the first visit in Sep 2019 - the early afternoon sun was flat and boring! 😉
The northeast region is having a heatwave, it's hot and humid ; oh "joy" of a hotter planet!
Have a fun-filled day, my dear Flickr friends!
