A sunrise unfolds in the morning fog along U.S. 50 between Parkersburg and Clarksburg in West Virginia. If you look closely, you can see the tip of some distant hills poking up through the fog.
I'm sure this has been done but I had this light bulb and I also had some snow. Someday, I'll have neither.
I apologize for the iPhone use. My camera is still away for repairs, but I wanted to show off my new light painting tools. It's a combination of a flashlight, strobe gels, film canister and some electrical tape. I hope to be using these soon to do some cool stuff.

Thank you sooo much for all your best wishes to get well again!
I am still a little weary... haven't had a migrane like this for ages.
On my morning walk I found these two healing plants... St. John's wort
and Calendula (next pic). It is a real cloudy and dark morning, I was
marvelled by the intense inner light of these flowers.
Field of Light, part of the "Light" installation by artist Bruce Munro at Cheekwood, summer 2013. These are just some of the 20,000 glowing orbs covering Cheekwood's grounds. (Thanks to my friend Sondra for letting me borrow her tripod tonight!)

The light and shadows yesterday afternoon were so pretty, I grabbed my camera to go take a few shots. I was supposed to be studying!
I think this is my favorite shot. That's CJ on the porch supervising.
A wicked cool simi-accident. went out for a smoke and brought my coffee "special" drink. thought the pack of cigaretts and coffee looked cool but there was no light for me to take the pic.
i tried with the flash and it looked BAD. so i lit up a tiki torch and there ya go.
Chris thought of holding the flame behind the coffee. ( my b/f)

A very hazy sun which soon rose into cloud, sadly. Gorgeous warm light and reflections for a while, though I went hoping for some of the mist which I'd left behind at Keswick!.
