Milu loves sitting on the bedpost watching the light cast from the evening sun coming through the curtain and making shapes on the wall.
Wishing you all a peaceful and calm weekend
Happy Furry Friday
There's not a lot of old growth where I live, so anywhere clear on the forest floor feels like magic. Just a little light makes way to the bottom, sifting through the canopy, whirling out of reach. I feel like I'm being welcomed someplace, somehow, like any two trees are a doorframe in this woods between the worlds. On the other side, it's exactly the same, but maybe I've changed. Slipping through space, passing through a portal and prying my mind. In the center of a circle, winding wide with room enough for one open heart at once. If anyone else were with me, there's a spell we'd both be breaking. An ironclad incantation, you've got to keep it to yourself.

Day 36
I wanted to show the technical evolution of light. Unfortunately broke my only incandescent light bulb. Instead I used a halogen bulb witch is still lighting with a filament. It is stitch together in Photoshop.
One of the lamps that light the path that runs outside the park wall - taken after walking Bramble in in the park early on a winter evening.
light speaks for itself
yet another shot from the 50mm 1.8G. I am so in love with this lens and everything it can produce/
4 second exposure of an LED headlamp, taken with my son in his darkened bedroom ... and then playfully treated in Paint Shop Pro. (same original photo as next)
This reminds me of a fine persian carpet. Child labour was a factor here, but I swear, my son enjoyed every minute.

First time at trying this out. Flashlight on a string tired to the cieling and a camera pointing straight up. Learned about it from here: www.diyphotography.net/create-geometric-light-painting-sp...
