This week I will be creating a number of experimental images. In this image I am physically creating layers by holding a rectangular piece of plastic containing various cut outs to be used for stenciling over a bathroom counter.

In case you were wondering, this ball is used in the dryer when drying things like comforters that are meant to stay fluffy.

I removed this photo from CC's challenge and plan on adding a different one tomorrow.

with telephoto lens artefacts in the corners, which quite fit into the overall atmosphere

I stacked some lace table mats on top of each other and took a side on shot. Technically the mats were tatted, so I think that makes them lace.

What I really wanted was to capture this exact view at sunrise, but didn't get a chance to do so. Hence, I had to make best use of the conditions available to me at the time.

Was going to let the cobwebs get to this one but when viewed as a thumbnail it sort of yelled at me so here we are. The layers between the bushes, road, light stream and terrain leading to Ngauruhoe must have said something to release it from the depths of spider land..haha.

Must admit had to dial back the red light stream a fair bit as was a bit strong and was taking way too much screaming attention from the mountain.

Taken for Macro Mondays"Layer" theme. Each shell is about the size of a little finger nail. I suppose I could have done this last week!

Stay safe people and keep your distance from others. It's not worth the possible consequences.

Last night's sunset overlooking the hills of West Dorset, including Rawlsbury Camp - an iron age hill fort - and the Dorsetshire Gap. Still so much of Dorset to explore!

The geography and landscape is interesting in almost any direction when observing from highlands of Arches National Park.

As the decaying years multiply, the peeling layers reveal aspects of this barn that some probably did not expect. In my sibling family of eight spanning 25 years, each recall a different side of our departed parents, some memories and perceptions startling the others.

This is a fabric coaster made with fabric created with the Stitch and Slash technique. It involves encasing many pieces of fabric between 2 layers of fabric, stitching lines then slashing the spaces to reveal the fabric inside.

Making the most of the wonderful conditions yesterday morning it would have been criminal not to get some misty fields and tree shots. There may be more of these over the coming days :)

This one I particularly like due to the singe chimney in the foreground providing its own addition to the mist. Getting the colour balance was hard as the sun had just risen and was casting an orange glow across the land, this combined with the diffusion from the mist gave a prevalent yellow hue when facing in this particular direction. But I'm quite happy that is how I saw it at the time.

Almost impossible to see where land ended and the clouds started from the top of Pale Heights on Saturday morning!

I could stare at these glorious clouds for hours and get lost in them !
