Macro Mondays - Layers
Image measures less than 2" square.
I curled magazine pages into the center and used a clear box of sequins lit with a small light for the background color. Cropped in post. : )
Happy Macro Monday!

After centuries of weathering and a big fall of snow, this rock near the summit of Oxen Craig on Bennachie looks like a badly iced cake!!
I've not been out much with my camera lately. This one is from the summer, taken from the slopes on the ascent of Cairn Lochan, looking northwards.
I have posted a colour version of this shot once before but I thought it would look equally good as a monochrome with the help of a little sliding goodness. The view is taken from somewhere east of Wilpena Pound (possibly Stokes Hill lookout) in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. From memory, this is facing north and looking up toward Blinman and beyond.
Happy Slider Sunday!
Still looking back at that sunset at Windy Post, Dartmoor. I think that (along with the Burnham visit) was my favourite shoot of 2022! This was just the general view looking out over the moor. Such an atmospheric place!

Stay safe and well everyone.
Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated.

On this evening, I wasn't expecting much of a sunset so I didn't bring my tripod as I walked the shoreline of Lake Huron. Then when this happened, I tried handheld to capture the blush of pink on the water as the sun was going down. I was surprised at how well it worked! The layers of textures and light was a lovely mix to make a simple sunset interesting.
