A golden sunset in the Pacific Northwest. The fog lingered around the mountains just long enough for the camera to pickup the different layers of the mountains.
For 'Macro Mondays' theme of 'Layer'.
Just a small white paper serviette stuck into the neck of a bottle.
Nothing complicated, a case of KISS - 'Keep It Simple Stupid'
I did try a stack of plates with a red serviette, and I did try a red serviette in the neck of the bottle, but didn't like the results.

Before finally heading down towards Montreux and Lake Geneva, we turn around and glance back one last time at where we came from: the other side of Switzerland, more than 330km (210mi) away. At least that's the distance it takes when you choose to go on foot and over these very Alps. Via Alpina trek, Switzerland.
When I stopped in Amsterdam for a week, I didn't think I would also go to Scheveningen, Haga. But some friends were vacationing in Holland and they suggested we all go there, to the beach. Of course I brought along my camera and luckily there was this nice sunset to shoot. I like this especially because you can see the moving clouds, but the weel is still, as of from another layer of time.
Saguaro National Park East. Interesting rock formation in the park. I like how the layers are angled here.
One of my more successful attempt to capture the Alps from an aircraft, this time on an early morning flight from Bristol to Corfu. No idea where it was, but I always add geolocation information.
A two tiered waterfall on the headwaters of Tiger Creek near the crest of Glassy Mountain in Rabun County Georgia, USA.While the perspective of this view doesn't show it, the upper drop is probably twice as tall as the lower drop
We do not grow absolutely, chronologically.
We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly.
We grow partially. We are relative.
We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present.
We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.

This is my first image of the most epic misty sunrise amongst the Dartmoor heathers.
I arrived before sunrise in fog and mist which was dissipating by the second as I hiked up the hill to the viewpoint. I was lucky to get my camera out of the bag quickly on the way up to catch this low layer of mist before it cleared.
It may have been clear in front of me but the cloud inversion in the valley below was incredible with the most awesome ever-changing sky.
I have many more photos to look through then I’ll post some of my favourites.
A double layered bridge over the river Mosel, with cars driving underneath the trains.

Originating in the West Indies, Mexico, and Central and South America, the flower is known botanically as Eustoma grandiflorum.
The common name comes from the Greek words lysis, meaning 'dissolution' and anthos, meaning 'flower'.
Colours include white, light and dark pink, lavender and deep purple. Double and single-flower varieties exist.
Many people do not know what it is, but everyone loves it!
For years I 'experimented' in the studio, to get that Flemish painter's light? Well, I was born in Flanders, it must be in my blood? LOL.
THANK you, M, (*_*)

My favorite potato chip...in fact the only potato chip I eat. The regular ones are too greasy for me.
