This is an unconventional portrait but I really like it. I have a thing for symmetry with a little bit of dissonance tossed in.
Done with the Graflex Crown Graphic, light form window on the left. Can't seem to find the original otherwise I would make a better scan. It's full of details the original contact print.

We went with a theme of gaining strength in overcoming pain.
I wanted to get the look of an old movie from the 50's/60's and drawing some inspiration from Helmut Newton as well.
I lit this with Arri hot lights. I love the look that they give!
I shot these on a combination of Kodak Tri-X 400, Ilford HP5 400, and Rollei IR 400 in 4x5.

Suffering from a whole lot of light leaks, but slowly learning the Linhof‘s correct exposure.
Ilford FP4 125 in D-76.
Cyanotype on "Cranes Kid Finish White" paper.
Exposure of 10 minutes sun, 10 minutes dim room, 15 minutes sun
10 minutes wash
1 minute Hydrogen Peroxide Development
10 minutes wash
This one turned out almost perfect, except for the 3 hairs from the Hake brush that cause imperfections in the print during exposure.
