One of Phil Nesmith's cameras, seen at a recent gallery talk he did at Irvine Contemporary. Shot at ISO 800, for those interested in such things.
shoot by a very big 323mm f2.45 lens on 8X10 format, which equals to 45mm f0.33 on 135 format. Get ultra thin depth of view. The background was fantastic!
To hold the film back in place I use a length of elastic cord held in place with a couple of eye screws and bicycle spoke elbows.

Calumet View 4x5 Camera, Polaroid 72 / 3 lamps from IKEA (Swedish is good for everything)
These last round of pictures with tags "largeformat" were actually too large to scan, so I took a photo of each picture on a white background in full sun, then cropped and color balanced them. I think they came out really well. This one in particular was around 3' x 4'. --sean
The Wisconsin Avenue Bridge, as it crosses over Miller Valley and Piggsville. Shot with a 4x5 camera and 240mm lens on Kodak Portra 160NC.
Tri X 400 ca 1983, 510 Pyro 1:500. Shot at box speed, 29 red filter
Film damage at the bottom but I knew it was there. The composition doesn't suffer too much but it could have been cropped out.
