Old Tennent Church is a Presbyterian church located in Manalapan, New Jersey. The church was founded in 1692 and is a historic Revolutionary War site.

Shot for an accessories brochure for BMW on a 10x8 camera decades before Photoshop became ubiquitous. It is made up of three elements: the roller skate and wheels were shot in one studio on one transparency. The car was then shot on another transparency with exactly the same camera moves to give it the right perspective. These two shots, and an Australian sunset shot were combined by a team of genius retouchers working for several days. Of course, photography was affected by the computer age, but Photoshop completely annihilated the retouching industry worlwide. I remember the retouching invoice for this one shot was £1200, or several month's wages.

portrait with Carl Zeiss P-Planar 150mm f2.8. The lens was rehoused and release the iris form original housing, the aperture extended to f2.8 with slightly sharpness down than f3.5. Very balanced image quality and bokeh performance. Also the lens had been mounted on COPAL3 shutter, convenient for cameras without curtain shutter

This photo is taken from the main Church's belltower, got a special permission to get up there, the local turist guide was very helpful to get the key and let me up there.

Reading glasses -- I don't normally use them, but they're handy for semi-fine focus work on ground glass. I use the loupe, too, but less often. For a dark cloth, I just use a bigass t-shirt.
This is the location of the VIP box on Karl-Marx-Allee in East Berlin where on the 7th October 1989, Soviet state and party chief Mikhail Gorbachev, and SED Secretary Erich Honecker stood.
